Family and Friends

This past week, my Aunt Libby came in from Oregon for a visit. Henry and I made the trek to Shreveport to see her. My grandmother had the whole family over for dinner on Wednesday night.
Madeline, my sister, Elizabeth, and Henry
Papa with his grandkids
Aunt Libby with her great nephew and niece

Then on Thursday, Henry and I went over to play with my friend Kristen and Baby Thomas.

Hanging out with their matching boppy-afros.
Good friends.
Exhausted after shopping with their mommas.

On Saturday, back in the Dallas area, we had a baby shower for my friend Liz.
Liz and Henry

Liz insisted that Henry borrow this jumping-thing (it's a technical term). He loved it!
Jumped so much, he fell asleep. He would actually wake up, jump a little bit (about 10 secs.), then fall back asleep.
We tried to get a pic of the boys together. (All the moms, and dads, went to Centenary together)
From L to R: Jackson-Liz's firstborn, Peyton, Henry, and Thomas.

Jackson- no longer happy. Liz tried to bribe him with candy corns.
Jackson still unhappy. Peyton stealing the candy corns. Henry trying to stop the crime and Thomas doing what boys do best...
It was a great shower. We can't wait to meet Baby Cooper!

Cowboy Hank

Pat Pat found this awesome, and by awesome I mean Big Lots special-icious, onesie for Henry. I found a cowboy hat in his closet and the get-up was complete. Ha.

We've been practicing...

He wasn't as excited as I was.... ho-hum....

(South Highlands crew- does this remind you of Mrs. Kirkendoll's gymnastic unit?)

Evac Evie

Mary Pat, Ryan, and Baby Evie had to evacuate due to Hurricane Ike. Stinks for them, but lucky for us- we got to play with Evie!

Sweet cousins...

And by the way, this is what they would have looked like if they had been alive in the 70s:
(I know, random- but a fun website: http://www.yearbookyourself.com/- whoa, I have too much time on my hands)

Enchanting Evie

I've seen such cute pictures of other babies posing with a stuffed animal... I tried to get a good one... had a little trouble:

Nope...

Not this one...

Whoa, there...

Better.

Wacky Wednesday

Everyone loves a diaper head!

I looked over and he had somehow turned the bib around himself. I guess his imagination is developing faster than I thought.
