(warning-I'm a little behind on blogging and trying to catch up... sorry if this is scatter-brained)
We got to spend Labor Day weekend with this fine fellow:
Since we no longer have a guest room we just throw down a mattress on Margaret's floor.
The cousins played on it all weekend.... I highly recommend it.
While Sarah was here, she taught me how to play Yahtzee, babysat for us, and we headed over to the zoo.
Then the Thursday after Labor Day, I headed over to Shreveport with the kiddos.
(Tom headed to Austin for his brother's bachelor weekend)
We stopped off at my mom's school.
We stopped off at my mom's school.
She wanted to show her grandkids around.
Too bad Henry went wacko on us.
Margaret was happy to show off, though.
And we did a lot of hanging around my parent's house.
Sarah Grace and Elizabeth (with Emma- due end of October) got sucked into watching it, too.
Had to throw in a picture of Henry's partner in crime, "Maddie Moo".
One of the best things about this trip was that my brother, Josh, drove in from Nashville for a surprise visit. Unfortunately, I have no pics of him and the kids. Bummer. Henry thinks Josh is really cool because he drives a motorcycle and plays the guitar. It was good to see him.
I did get a picture of my childhood home.
I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with my family there.
Sunday, we dragged back home to Texas.
