April Birthdays

April is a busy month for birthdays for us.
In Tom's family, there are 5.
(In mine, there are 3- about to be 4)
Fortunately for us, the Louis April birthday people are very kind and don't mind sharing their birthday party with each other.
We had their party over at Walter and Meagan's.
Henry enjoyed his pizza shirtless... I forgot a bib for him.
Megan (April 7th), Tom (17th), and PatPat (14th)
Henry (12th) and Alice (16th) are the other April birthday peeps

It's hard to find appropriate cards these days.
Luckily, this Precious Moments card was perfect for Megan.
It basically said that God has blessed us with a sister-in-law like her.
She received Gap gift cards.

Tom was in need of some polo shirts. He got 5 of them!

PatPat received some Fiesta serving pieces.

The best part of the evening was when Walter and Megan gave a gift to us.
Megan is EXPECTING!
The 11th Louis grandbaby will be born the end of October!

Botanical Gardens

On Friday we joined some friends at the Botanical Gardens for a picnic.
Thinking hard
Henry and Luke

Luke and Kate- such a sweet picture!

He would have fallen in if it had taken me any longer to take the pic.

He could have walked around for hours!

The kiddos looking for turtles.
We had such a great time!

Cheerios for Ducks

Last week, Henry and I went to the local lake with our friends, Casey and Audrey, to feed Cheerios to the ducks. Good times!
Miss Audrey was ready to soak in some rays.
She is super sweet!!

"Duh"
That's me thinking that Henry is saying "duck"

Birthday Dinners

It was a super bummer that Tom had to be on call on both his (Tom's birthday is today, April 17th- Happy Birthday, Dear!) and Henry's birthdays, so Little Man and I joined Dr. Tom at the hospital so we could be together for a little while on the special days.

For Henry's birthday, we brought Greek food to enjoy.
(no picture)

This little skeleton is in the intern study/break room. Henry was a bit scared of it and wouldn't go near it without his daddy's protection.

Here are the boys on Tom's birthday:

This time we went to the cafeteria to get our supper.
Henry had his 1st taste of Chick-fil-A.

Call me crazy, but I got so excited about my choices for dessert- Bluebell Ice Cream, a Coke Icee, Jello.... I was like a kid in a candy store!

I went with the Jello.

(It actually tasted like soap- blah)

I cherish the time I get to spend with my amazing, handsome, intelligent guys!

Sweet Baby Alice

Our niece, Alice Kay Wood, was born yesterday.... weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 6 oz!
She's the 10th Louis grandchild to be born.
Alice is a beauty and she and Momma Kate are doing great!

Crazy to think that they are just a year apart!

And I never posted pics from Kate's shower...
I got put in charge of Kate's camera during the shower, so these are the few that I had on my camera: Such a precious book- Alice the Fairy by David Shannon

All the yummy food!
Thanks PatPat for the centerpiece!

Bluebonnets

We took Henry to go get his pictures taken in a field of bluebonnets. Even though I sometimes feel Texas thinks too much of itself, it does have the right to be proud of these flowers.

This one is my favorite :)

Henry loves to point at EVERYTHING!

"Right back at 'cha!"

I would like to say that Henry is squealing with delight, but the tear coming out of his eye proves otherwise.

Baby Ava

Last week, Henry and I got to bring dinner to the Seamans family. It was great to finally meet beautiful Baby Ava (who was born on March 20th) and visit with Momma Kristen.
They are doing wonderful!

Easter

After Henry's blueberry pancake birthday breakfast he found what the Easter Bunny left him.

Yipee- another sippy cup!

And another Animals book!

Henry got cleaned up and dressed for the day.
**A special thanks to Jenny and Amy Mc for his sweet, sweet Easter outfit!

After church, Henry and I went over to my in-laws for Easter lunch.

Later, we had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kiddos.
Of course, I forgot his basket, so we borrowed this one... it didn't have a handle.....

Found one!

Trying to eat a Starburst with the wrapper still on.... not a choking hazard at all.

Love for momma.

We sang to the birthday boy one more time

Hope all your wishes come true!
