Louis Christmas

Seeing that 4 out of the 7  Louis kids had plans to be in the state of Alabama at some point during the Christmas week, we were lucky to have Louis Christmas here in Birmingham.

The only Louis kid who was not able to be here was Mary Pat and her family. :(

We sure did miss those Whitesides!!!

Family started to arrive Christmas night. 

The Woods drove up from south Alabama.

Brent brought Henry a special gift... 

He has trained his nephew to be quite the Auburn fan. 

MG was sooo very excited to have Alice around!

The Buntings, Ross Louises, Walter Louises, and Jack Louises all came the day after Christmas.

Walter found quite the rental home that gave everyone extra space.... it was really nice.

He also found a Christmas tree on a curb, so we had a place to put our presents. 

16 out of the 18 cousins.

By June, there will be 21. 

 Dinner that evening

Cousins had fun catching up with each other

 Baby Alexandria had so much family to meet

 The house had an unfinished basement.... perfect for four square

 The Woods stayed with us.... kids had a blast

Next day

Took an excursion to a nature park

The guys had fun playing pool

Gingerbread decorating contest

 Addie and Ella got a little out of control with the icing

 Up way past his bedtime

Somehow the evening ended with wrestling after eating Burgers and Beans.... a traditional Louis meal :)

The Ross Louis crew and the Bunting family left later that day, so the Woods and we stayed the night at the rental house.

I was the biggest loser in a game of hearts that evening....

Who has a brain to be strategic??

That morning, everyone went their own way.

It was a perfect family Christmas! 

Wonder where we will all meet next Christmas????
