Going to start off with Valentine's Day....
Love these kiddos.
Simon and I went to Henry's class party that morning.
Got no pics of the kids having fun.
Thank goodness for the mom I don't even know for taking this little one off my hands to coordinate the games I was in charge of.
The games were a hit.
Pin the Lips on Miss Valentine
Hug, Hug. Kiss (version of Duck, Duck, Goose)
Toss the Heart bean bags into buckets
Can't go wrong with the classics :)
Tom got home early and played outside with the littlest one (while talking on the phone... I'll cut him some slack... he was discussing a future job opportunity... more on that later...)
Loads of Love.
Margaret Gray and I snuggled on the couch after she got up from her nap.
The biggest of the little ones had a hard time waking up...
Celebrating LOVE is tiring.
We had a family date night at a local Mexican food restaurant.
The last weekend in February, we traveled down to Austin to celebrate Tom's cousin's wedding.
It was nice to have 2 adult only evenings.
Rehearsal Dinner
Kate, Leigh, Mary Pat, and Laura (sister of the groom, Ben)
We "went out" after the dinner.
Funny when I realized that I was holding my diaper bag in a bar.
Beautiful wedding venue- Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center
Love my sister in laws... I'm so lucky to have had married into this family!
My love.
Quite lovely.
I loved my green earrings, too ;)
Some other "Love" events...
Went to Shreveport for my cousin's wedding this past weekend.
Stopped by our college stomping grounds... where our love started....
... and took our "engagement" pic.
Such a bad picture in many ways, but documented.
And 4 out of the 5 of us are wearing green, because I thought it was St. Patrick's Day... which it wasn't. ha.
Off to Clara and Riley's wedding that night...
I love my sisters.
They are so much fun to be around... we are some funny peeps, us Lagersen girls.
Loved watching my blind grandmother dance with my uncle.
Such a beautiful wedding.
Loved seeing my sweet cousin so happy.
Us, my sisters and their hubbies and Madeline, my grandmother, and my Aunt Libby and her family (in town from Oregon).
We missed my mom and Harv, who were celebrating my brother's new baby girl in Cincinnati.... unfortunate timing.
Ate breakfast together at our favorite local greasy spoon before we headed home.
Love these cousins... who are super silly and super sweet. My dad would be proud :)
