"Baseball Game, Baseball Game"

Going to 3 baseball games in one week will make your 2 year old think that he should be going to one every day. Every day he says "Baseball Game" about 20 times.

It started with a preseason game. The organization gave us free tickets because they took so long refunding our money from purchasing playoff tickets... which the Rangers never went to... this year, it's going to be a different story.
Margaret sported Henry's old onesie that was made for him.
It was a good game, slow, but we did end up winning. Beautiful weather for sitting outside.

The next two pics are totally random. (they were taken the morning of Opening Day)
Brent makes fun of us for blow drying Henry's hair before he goes to bed.. this is what happens when he goes to bed with it wet:

Back to baseball...
Opening Day

We got there early for our 3rd annual tailgating

At the tailgate we celebrated Henry's birthday, but I'll post those pics later.
This Opening Day was special because my parents came!

Henry did surprisingly well... considering he didn't have a nap.

Margaret slept most the time... even when her daddy almost caught a fly ball while holding her.

the kiddos

For the 3rd game, the kids and I went sans Tom. Luckily, PatPat came along to help out.
Jack was in town and his friend's mom got him access to a suite. Let me tell you, that's the way to watch a game when you got kids.
Kate spoiling Henry with Mike & Ikes

Margaret Gray got to meet her Aunt Alex
(more on why Jack and Alex were in town, later)

Kate, Jack, Leigh, Leigh's mom, and PatPat

Thomas and Henry enjoying the benefits of having a suite

We've had lots of fun at these baseball games... hopefully it won't be too hot this summer and the Rangers will keep doing what they're doing- we'd like to go to lots more!

Bluebonnets 2010

Well, pictures didn't go that well this year.
At least we tried.

Poor Margaret

The camera is over here, kids.

Henry's preferred activity

Reminds me of Baby Moses

3 months

This month flew by!
Not much has changed....
Still sweet....
Sleeps for about 7-8 hours at night (did give me some 9 hour nights... sigh). Takes 4 naps a day, some are longer than others. Likes to wake up during the 2 am hour (she busts out of her swaddle), but if you swaddle her back up, she'll go right back to sleep... this habit needs to be broken...
Is called Mar-get by Henry....

Would rather be sitting up than laying down and likes to "stand" in your lap ...
And is getting better and better at tummy time.

Margaret's not doing much in this video... well, she does grab for Princess Sophie (the doll that the Easter Bunny brought her). That's a developmental milestone, right???

Easter Weekend

On Saturday, we crashed Kate and Brent's Sunday School class' Easter egg hunt.
(go ahead and get used to Henry not looking at the camera)

Henry wasn't sure what he was about to do

But was a fast learner...

Find egg, put in basket...

...keep moving.
He was perfectly content finding colorful eggs....

Then Uncle Brent showed him that there was candy inside.
He was very excited about this!

The cousins checking out their loot.
(We were lucky to have the New Orleans cousins- Gabe, Isabelle, and Arden- in town, too)

Margaret and Cousin Bunny Ella

On Easter Sunday, we attended the 8 o'clock service (that was interesting getting out the door), then came home to do the baskets.

Eggs! Eggs! Eggs!
Candy! Candy! Candy!
(why did I put candy in the eggs?)
Henry is really into spotting letters and numbers, so we got him some to enjoy in the tub.

Time for family pics:

I love Margaret's side smile here

Funny face
(Side bar-I used to have a cat named Funny Face- she died in the dryer when I was 8... devastating)

Attempting to get a good photo of the two:
Didn't start out well

Here, Henry is pointing at the candy with which I was bribing him

Not sure we ever got a good one

We joined Tom's parents, grandmother, cousins, and Ross and the kids at Kate and Brent's for lunch.

8 out of 12 cousins isn't bad

Besides the humidity, it was a great day to be outside

I finally got a photo of Margaret with her Great Grandmother Herndon

We had another egg hunt... this time Henry moved faster!

Margaret, one day you will stop spitting up on me... I still love you, though.

I loved all the time we got to spend together as a family during this special holiday.

I don't have time to upload any pics from this weekend, but I will share these of sweet Margaret Gray in her Easter dress.
