Sick Kiddo

Last week, Henry came down with something nasty. Flu? Maybe.

When we went to his 18 month well checkup on Monday, I told Henry's doc how he had been exposed to the flu (my poor sister-in-law and niece had it). Since I'm pregnant, he went ahead and gave me a prescription for Tamiflu and told me symptoms to look for.

Wednesday afternoon, he woke up from his nap with all the symptoms.
I rushed to the drug store to get the prescription filled and looked apologetic to everyone we encountered. Henry looked miserable- red cheeks, runny nose.
Luckily goldfish and dried apricots kept Henry somewhat happy while waiting for the prescription to be filled.

When we got home, I took these photos.

I think the flash hurt his eyes.

Thank goodness for Sesame Street online.... all the Elmo videos a kid could ask for!

He woke up with fever the next morning, and luckily we didn't see it again.

Now he is back to his old self!

I'm glad Henry is feeling better! I love that picture of him holding his dog!! His bridge/gymnastics move is pretty impressive!
