Halloween 2011

We started our Halloween with a playdate at the McAdams'.

captured a pic of our sweet little girl before we left.

All of our little friends wore their costumes over at Amy and Brinley's, but seeing that Margaret Gray's wasn't finished, we dressed fall-ish.

Here are our hostesses.... they put together some fun activities and yummy food that we all enjoyed and appreciated! Thanks again, Amy and Miss Brin!

Our sweet friends: Ava, Brinley, Baby Georgia, Luke, and Audrey.
Margaret was intrigued by the jack-o-lantern and Henry was upset that she was playing with it.

"OOOOOO", says the ghost cheese stick.

Onto that evening...
Got Margaret's "tutu" finished during naptime.
Fireman Brother and Fire Sister

We went over to the Benton's to have pizza with them and the Woods.
At dinner, Henry told me "firemen drink Dr. Pepper". Nice try.
The trick or treating crew
Tom was able to join us for dinner and the 1st couple of houses, then went to Bible study.
Thank goodness for friends and family to help this preggo momma out.
Blazin' the streets... though she tuckered out towards the end and wanted me to carry her.
Henry tended to go ahead with the big kids while Margaret stayed back with Alice and Olivia. Every now and then they would stick together.... which was helpful for people to understand MG's costume.
At one point in the evening, I found Henry wondering around in someone's foyer.

After trick or treating for about an hour, we headed over to PawPaw and PatPat's church for their trunk or treat.
We ran into PawPaw, who was working the festival.
But luckily, he got off duty and took the kids for an adventure down the big slide.
Unfortunately, Margaret peed all over him (check out his shirt), so I knew it was time for us to go home.

Made sure to brush the kids teeth :) then threw them in bed. Then dove into bed myself... with toes that were as swollen as the hot dog on PawPaw's hat.

Margaret has not let go of her candy bucket. Takes it in the car, holds onto it while eating- must know that when she's sleeping, mom's eating out of it. Smart girl.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

LOVE the first picture of MG posing before the Halloween play date!! Looks like you guys had a great time!

And Henry and Margaret's costumes are adorable! Hilarious that you captured Paw Paw's wet shirt - clear sign that the night is over :)

Henry and Evie spent their first Halloween together - we just might have to get grandkid #15 & #16 together too!
