Tom's oldest sister, Alex, got married last weekend.
We had a blast celebrating with her and Jim!
The weekend started on Thursday night, with the boys going to a baseball game and the girls going out for fondue and martinis.
Jim's sister, Allison, 3 of Alex's childhood friends, PatPat, Alex, me, Mary Pat, Jenny, and Kate(Jenny and I swear we are taller than that!)
It was so fun to be out with the girls... I haven't been out til 1 in the morning in a long time!
For the "rehearsal dinner", we went over to Kate and Brent's and had fajitas.
(I can make this about me can't I?? It is my blog)
During my, I mean our, rehearsal dinner, PawPaw announced that he had a "friend" write music to some lyrics he wrote... The music started playing (You are the Only One by James Taylor... PawPaw never said, but I think he chose this particular song since Tom had another girlfriend when we met...and didn't tell me about... I'll never let that one die) and he began to dance with me.... then he passed me to Tom's oldest brother, Ross, then I went to Walter, then to Jack, and then while my back was turned, Tom came and cut in.
It was such a special moment!
Anyhoo-
The tradition has continued at Louis rehearsal dinners.

It was a really beautiful place... with a baseball field. Random, but perfect for our family.

Addie wasn't so excited about wearing the flowers in her hair... she didn't realize how adorable she looked :)

Ok, I love Alex's dress! She looked beautiful but so did yall! That looks like so much fun, what a great family- yall are so blessed!
Yeah, i love her dress, and her shoes too! Is there a story behind the shoes? Margaret Gray looked beautiful as always, Henry looking more handsome by the minute to Bekah with that great baseball stance, and of course, it was great to see the two of y'all having so much fun! Your humor was top notch in this post, everything from the random mentioning of tom's "other girlfriend" to the FB pose! As I always say, wish I was a fly on the wall at those Louis events, they look like so much fun! And so special!
wow! what fun!! I agree the bride was so beautiful and that dress was amazing! What a fun family you have!! And those lil pillowcase dresses are just precious and soooo pretty! You looked so great too Rebekah- pretty in your pink (or peach) or whatever
Great job wedding photographer!! You took so many good pictures!
I love the new family header picture!
It was great staying with you guys - Evie always loves her cousin time
Wow! Alex was one gorgeous bride! That looks like it was a dream wedding. (And since we're not letting things die.....I wanted kick ball at our rehearsal dinner but Barker's mom said no way- and since she was paying for the dinner that night, I had to go with what she wanted, instead of what I wanted.)
Oh! And I love the pic of the Whitesides! Too cute.
