Long Weekend in the Port

Tom working nights + hadn't had a good visit back home since Christmas = road trip to Shreveport.

We made a pit stop at my grandparents in Dallas on the way out of town.

MG had fun showing what to do with a tissue.

Made it to the Port and stopped off at my other grandmother's. I don't have any pics :( but we did have a good visit with Grandmother Peggy.

At MiMi and Papa's
Henry always knows there are Honey Nut Cheerios waiting for him.

H and Papa watched many baseball games together

And we made several trips to feed the turtles and ducks. One night the turtles were going nuts- I've never been so scared for my kids (kinda exaggerating)... thought one was going to climb up on MG, but Papa came to the rescue. Was a funny sight.

Had lots of fun with cousins

One night we enjoyed pizza and a puppet/magic show at my family's church.

Cousins playing on Uncle Leif's moto

Played at a park with the Sherrys.

Forgot the kids' swimsuits. Luckily Liam let Henry borrow his.

But Margaret Gray had to rock her romper

Kids being silly before church

And we got a group pic in one of the nursery rooms

Henry, Madeline, Emma K, MG, Sarah Grace, and Liam

Had some fun Lagersen time swimming

Henry was pretty apprehensive about the slide at first... Unfortunately for him, I made him go down by himself a couple of times- Thank goodness his uncle took pity on him and rode with Henry.

Margaret loved it from the get go!
It wore me out!

Icee Break

Madeline, Liam, MG, H, and Sarah Grace

We also got together with friends.

The kids and I went to visit some friends from high school and their brand new babies. No pics :(

I got away one afternoon to meet Liz and Charlie (who were also in town) at our favorite fabric store.

And we got to celebrate our college friend, Adam's completion of his PhD.

Kristen put on quite the party for her hubby. Wish Tom could have been there too :(

Got some crummy pics...

Kids played football
Luckily Kristen's sister, Erin, had energy to play with the bunch!

And MG was cute.

It was a great trip, although I've spent all week recovering :)

Not sure if we'll get back before BeBe 3 comes. Hopefully my doc will let me go back for Thanksgiving!
