Fort Worth Stock Show 2011/2012

Last week we went on our annual trip to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Since I never posted when we went last year, I included some of those photos, too.
If you are really bored, you can check out our trip in 2010 (after MG was born) and 2009.

First stop, the petting zoo.
Margaret Gray was super excited about the animals.

Henry was very apprehensive about them...
... while his sister kissed the animals. Sanitary.
Surprisingly, Henry was perfectly fine with "riding" this horse.
On "Apache"
Margaret rode "Marshmellow"
(Jenny B- the next day, they got their horses from Bekah's party and rode around on Apache and Marshmellow)

Fun times playing on the tractors

From 2011

Checking out chicks

We ate our Cowboy Burrito and this enormous serving of Potato Twisters

Last year, we got to the Stock Show too late to enjoy the Cowboy Burrito, so we had to settle for a corndog.

Saw some wild horse competition... the kids got stopped on the way to our seats and were given these rockin' shades.

Got to include a picture of Simon

We ended our night with a couple of rides.
Margaret chose a spin on the carousel. She wanted to ride on the monkey, but a boy who was "too old to be riding it" (in the words of Tom), snagged it first.
Watching Henry in his ride of choice....

... the motorcycles.
Funny he picked the exact same one 2 years in a row. He talks all the time about when he's older (how old Henry? ..."5" ) he's going to get a motorcycle.

Take 1
Take 2. Fail.

Good Louis times!
