My dear friend from elementary school, Virginia, and I got to experience the most awesome night of our lives on Sunday night. (warning- this post is pretty ridiculous. you have to understand that we immediately got thrown back to 1990 and we were transformed into 10 year old girls)
We were ready!
And it began... hearts began to race...voices began to squeal... hands were in the air
Some footage of the old days... feeling faint...
Singin' and Dancin' ... whew- they've still got it

The boys came out to perform on a stage in the middle of the crowd... to get a little closer to us, of course. Virginia and I tried to remember what they sang while they were out there, and we couldn't... we were just so caught up in the moment.

This random girl was dancing on the piano- I kept waiting for her to sing- thinking that's why she was there. Nope- she was just there.

Ode to my fav- Jordan Knight
The pic above does not give the moment justice. Jordan's shirt was blowing in the wind while he sang... and my knees went weak.

Virginia's fav... Donnie Wahlberg

I guess all good things have to come to an end

We got these awesome t-shirts after the concert. We thought that if we wore them, Donnie and Jordan would come claim us.
While walking to the car, we noticed a crowd of "girls" looking down to the loading dock waiting for the boys to load their tour buses. It was midnight, we had nothing else to do, so we decided to join them. When Joe (in the khaki pants and black top) came out, we gave him a shout out and he looked at Virginia and waved!
Her heart melted.

Then he went back "under" (I guess the AAC has an underground loading place).
About 20 mins later a bus came from underground and we could see the Kids standing in the front window waving. "Girls" were screaming and waving...I wish you could have seen how fast 30 year old women ran to chase after the bus... and we thought we were crazy...
It was everything I expected and more... I am so glad that Virginia came up here to go with me... it was a blast! She is such a good friend!
And I like to give a shout out to my sisters, Elizabeth and Sarah Margaret, who were unable to attend with us. May the dance moves we learned, the lyrics we sang, the BOP magazines we read, and the club house we made always be in our hearts :)

Oh wow, this blog post made me feel like I was there! You lucky duck! :) Your comments were hilarious and not in one bit absurd or over the top! I love how NKTOB and Henry pretty much have the same amount of pictures on your blog now!
