Louis Christmas 2010

We celebrated Louis Christmas the week after Christmas.

Walter, Megan, and Jackson joined us from Charlotte along with PatPat, PawPaw, and the Wood family.

Here I tried to get a picture of the kiddos before we opened gifts that evening... always an interesting task.

My camera was acting up again that night, so my pics are limited.

Cousin Alice was super excited about her new purse- complete with all the accessories a girl could dream of! Henry looks pretty interested, too :)



Henry got an amazing set of jungle animals from his grandparents.

Why is Ella holding her stuffed animal so tight? Because MG had just snatched it seconds before.

Margaret got a shopping bag with groceries in it. She's loved carrying it around and taking the items in and out.

Tom got Ranger's loot. Margaret's hair was ready for bed.



PatPat bought all the girls' gifts from the Arlington Pregnancy Center Resale shop. All proceeds support the center, so it was neat that the amazing coat she bought me benefited a charity so close to her heart.


Even though in Louis standards it was a small representation of family, we enjoyed our time with the family who was there.

The next night, we gathered again with Tom's aunt, uncle, and cousin from his Dad's side and his aunt and cousins from PatPat's side.

Margaret Gray enjoyed being around her cousin, Jackson.... who happens to be expecting a sibling this summer! (If you're trying to keep count- that's Louis grandkid #13)

Why is Margaret eating pasta off the floor? Because she's now smart enough to take the lid off of tupperware.

We're 90% sure we'll be staying here for Christmas next year (and hopefully will be getting together will all my family at another time).... I'm already looking forward to it- it was so fun with Henry getting into the Christmas spirit this year (ie-learning about the Christmas story- Baby Jesus, Joseph, and "Married") and I can't wait for Margaret Gray to start understanding about Christmas, too.
